I was fortunate enough to find my true calling in Medical Science at a young age. Since then, most of my conscious time and effort has been going into making Healthcare better & more accessible for those in need.
My life over the years has been a product of a variety of events which have come together in the most fortunate way to each day bring me closer to a purpose dearer to me than most – Service to Humanity.
After finishing my schooling from Asia English School and Gujarat Law Society in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India), I couldn’t help but fall head over heels for the first love of my life – Medical Science.
Following this discovery, I decided to pursue MBBS from MP Shah Medical College in Jamnagar (Gujarat, India) and completed it in 1987 with distinction. During this period itself, I was introduced to Internal Medicine and instantly knew what my next step was going to be. I took admission in the same college to further pursue a Masters degree (MD) in Internal Medicine and successfully graduated in 1990, securing second place in the University.
On 23rd May 1991, I started my independent practise as a Physician (Internal Medicine) after a few brief stints with a number of hospitals in Ahmedabad.
With passing years and immense hard work, my elevated skill and confidence in the fields of cardiology, nephrology, infectious diseases, critical care and cerebral vascular emergencies, along with the encouragement from my wife & family allowed me to take the next big plunge – starting our very own Hospital.
And that’s how my life came full circle and all those variety of events (I talked about earlier) snowballed from being a dream which was once larger than life, into the reality I know (and live) today –
the Sanjivani Super Speciality Hospitals.
